The Concert Hall - Battle Of The Bands - November 7 1987

High School Battle Of The Bands was the first of 3 shows that we did at the Masonic Temple (The Concert Hall) in Toronto. It was an awesome place to see a show and not too bad for our first big show. There were over 1200 people there. It was filmed and was shown on Rogers Cable 10 a number of times after the show itself. Meredith dressed up like the kid from the cover of Misplaced Childhood, Phil straightened his hair, Darrin wore make up and Daniel wore Phil's sister's sweet 16 dress. The only audio/video available is for Music Of The Spheres, The Lamb and part of A Whiter Shade Of Pale (which I fondly refer to as the Nadir of Fugit).

The band lineup was:
Darrin Cappe - Vocals
Mike Graham - Keyboards
Meredith Halpern - Vocals
Phil Shoore - Drums
Daniel Veidlinger - Bass
Jeff Veidlinger - Guitars

Setlist:
1. Fanfare For The Common Man (ELP)
2. Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd)
3. Lavender (Marillion)
4. The Logical Song (Supertramp)
5. Music Of The Spheres (Fugit)
6. Touch And Go (Emerson Lake and Powell)
7. Solisbury Hill (Peter Gabriel)
8. Suite Madame Blue (Styx)
